Help people discover places worth visiting without putting those places or people at risk. Be honest, specific, respectful, and thoughtful about what should remain undiscovered.
1. Share places that genuinely help travellers
- Submit real places, activities, experiences, stays, or food spots you can describe accurately.
- Explain why the place is worth a visit and include practical, current details where possible.
- Choose accurate categories, budgets, locations, tags, links, and traveller verdicts.
- Do not create duplicate, fake, misleading, or purely promotional listings.
2. Protect places and communities
- Do not encourage trespassing, bypassing closures, unsafe access, or illegal activity.
- Respect local residents, cultures, sacred places, private property, and community rules.
- Avoid exposing sensitive locations where increased attention could cause harm, including vulnerable wildlife, fragile ecosystems, or culturally restricted sites.
- Encourage low-impact visits: follow local guidance, carry waste out, and leave places as you found them.
3. Keep content respectful and safe
Listings, comments, display names, photos, and links must not contain harassment, hate, threats, graphic violence, sexual exploitation, scams, spam, malicious links, or unlawful content.
Disagreement is welcome when it is useful and respectful. Personal attacks, humiliation, and targeting other members are not.
4. Use photos and media responsibly
- Upload only photos you created or have permission to use.
- Do not upload private, intimate, or identifying images without appropriate consent.
- Avoid misleading edits or media that does not represent the submitted place.
- Use external links only when they are relevant, safe, and legitimately connected to the listing.
5. Write useful community tips
Comments should add practical, first-hand, or timely information, such as access conditions, suitable visiting times, what to carry, recent closures, or nearby places. Do not use comments for unrelated promotion, arguments, or personal attacks.
If information may change quickly, make that clear and encourage travellers to verify it before visiting.
6. Moderation
New listings and user-requested listing edits are reviewed before becoming public. Comments may be reviewed by administrators. Content may be rejected, edited, unpublished, archived, or deleted when it violates these guidelines, appears unsafe or misleading, infringes rights, or does not fit the community's purpose.
Repeated or serious violations may result in restricted access. Moderation decisions involve judgment and may evolve as the community grows.
7. Raise a concern
In-product listing and comment reporting is planned for a future release. Until then, email us with the listing or comment link, a clear explanation of the concern, and any useful supporting details. For urgent danger, contact the appropriate local authorities or emergency services rather than relying on this website.
