1. About the service

Underrated Travel Community is a community-powered travel discovery website. Members can discover places, submit listings, upload photos, comment, save places, and record travel actions. Submissions and edits may be reviewed before becoming public.

The service may change, pause, or discontinue features as the product develops.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must use a valid Google account to access contribution features. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping that account secure. Do not impersonate another person or use misleading account information.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. The service is not knowingly directed to children under 13.

3. Your contributions

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Underrated Travel Community a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and that it follows our Community Guidelines. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of your contributions.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

• Post unlawful, harmful, threatening, hateful, deceptive, or abusive content.
• Upload content that infringes copyright, privacy, or other rights.
• Promote unsafe access, trespassing, environmental damage, or exploitation.
• Spam, manipulate engagement, scrape private information, or interfere with the service.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, moderation, permissions, or security controls.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, edit, reject, unpublish, archive, or delete content that violates these terms, the Community Guidelines, or the purpose of the service. We may restrict or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect the community or service.

Moderation decisions may involve judgment and may not always occur immediately. Contact us if you believe content or an enforcement decision requires review.

6. Travel information and safety

Community listings, comments, budgets, maps, opening details, and recommendations may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unavailable. They are provided for general discovery, not as professional travel, safety, medical, legal, or financial advice.

You are responsible for independently verifying conditions, permissions, closures, costs, weather, transport, local laws, and personal safety before visiting a place. Respect private property, local communities, wildlife, and the environment.

7. Third-party services and links

The website uses or links to third-party services including Google, Firebase, Maps, Places, Instagram, YouTube, and user-submitted external pages. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without guarantees that it will always be accurate, secure, available, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Underrated Travel Community is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or travel-related losses arising from use of the service or reliance on community content.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
